So I listened to a Breaking Points podcast on the TX mall shooter (I try to listen to what my family members listen to so I can get an idea of what they're ingesting). Saagar talks about Bellingcat being an untrustworthy neo-liberal CIA funded propaganda org. 🤦 . When this eventually comes up with my family how best do I tell them that this podcast is trash and/or help them understand what Bellingcat is really about?

I'd introduce them to Bcat and show about their work until they build an opinion before they listen to it

That's kind of your only chance

it's admirable of you to want to understand and help your family, but remember to take care of yourself too - I've watched the qAnon Casualties subreddit for quite some time and I hate watching people suffer so much as they try to extract family members from strange beliefs. you've gotten good advice for the bcat angle; good luck!
