not sure, I did notice that there was a synchronization bug in the client DB in the case of a context getting canceled during init of the DB, which I'm fixing now. But I noticed that in CI in very complicated cases, not something simple like what you're doing
Is what you're hitting flaky? if so git bisect could be wrong obviously
