Let me check I think you should likely upgrade to a newer version, if possible.

Some of the older versions used a quite crude implementation of serde_graphql_input or just serde_json, which gave some quite nasty bugs.

It should however be fixed in the last two versions.

When you mention that it beats the rust version, is it in usability, performance etc?
