Thanks! The answer does not necessarily change but I am doing a bit of product discovery around otel connectors and was hoping to ask some questions.

We don't have a guide or connector at the moment, but Dagger emits OTEL so it should work with anything that accepts OTEL

You can see how this is hooked up by running dagger core container from --address "alpine" terminal and then env you will see all the OTEL variables

Back to the product discovery questions, you don't have to answer, but I'd appreciate it:

if there was a single button in Dagger Cloud that let you send OTEL to Grafana Tempo, is that something that you would

  1. use?
  2. be willing to pay for?

Answer for those 2 questions would be no as one the requirements of my investigation/experimentation is not have the telemetry data sent anywhere but the internal Grafana Tempo
