Nuke question

Curious what you'd say for folks evaluating nuke. I know mage well and prefer go. I did setup a project with nuke and custom tools and components but never rolled out global tooling just one project.

Was it a good experience? I'm not a c# pro so I'm biased. Felt very clunky, slow, over complicated with more magic than I wanted but again biased probably cause I like Go.
