I am a bit confused about licenses in general. Is it okay if I pull the dagger-engine from the dagger-registry and host it on my company's artifactory server.
I am doing small POC and needed to customize the dagger-engine image a little.
I see the license is Apache-2.0, but would just like to confirm if it;s okay to modify the image and host it in company's artifactory.

Yes Apache 2 is an OSI-approved open source license which means that all these freedoms are respected: https://opensource.org/osd
In particular you are tree to modify the software for your own use
We restrict the use of the Dagger trademark, so if you redistribute the modified software commercially, you can't call it Dagger. This is different from the licence. For internal use you don't have to worry about trademark (no redistribution)
