Oh, must have misspoken sorry. We have actually migrated from github(not using actions at all) to self hosted gitea now and starting to use gitea actions more and more.
We've been missing out on a lot of goodies due to not wanting to give github runners(even when self hosted) access into our openstack environments. Now that we're bringing everything inhouse this is finally something we can do
But this whole topic is incredibly complex. I think officially we’re not allowed to get any kind of customer information out of Europe. But it is somewhat being looked away from by Europe as well. Nobody really knows
I probably mis-remembered and reversed the direction of your migration goal. Ha
It's a relatively new era for this kind of information control - I dealt with the early CCPA compliance efforts in California for a previous employer and it was very nuanced. We had the interesting exception of also being HIPAA compliant, which meant we had to retain customer information even when consumers asked us under CCPA to delete it.
