FWIW we don’t use slack anymore for video for a similar reason… video chat with lots of participants is quite difficult to get right apparently

Honestly, while I appreciate the Discord support person in the tweet, in some ways, I'd preferred if they'd just had the right signals to listen to. The amount of times where I've tried to use the discord streaming and it just kicking the bucket is not few. If they'd actually monitor this stuff they'd see that the failure rate would be enormous, so yeah we also changed to something else instead.
