I am trying out in a few CI environments around the world to see if I see any other problems.

Sorry I am not able to reproduce, seems like a regional issue for sure. I was able to do this successfully locally (SF)

And on CircleCI/GitHub/Gitlab on their default runners which are usually around US-East or US-West

A subsea cable fault between Perth and Singapore has resulted in sub-optimal routes being utilised for some traffic destined through Asia Pacific. Customers may experience higher than normal latency to applications and services outside of NZ during this time. Our international partners are organising a repair vessel and will plan restoration activities. We will provide further updates and an ETR once known.

We apologise for the inconvenience.
Update: 14:30 01/12/2023: International partners have advised that an estimate for repair is approximately mid-January. This repair requires additional equipment, spares, coastal permits and ideal weather conditions.
