OrbStack and container Publish(), Export() | Dagger | Page 1

Hi,

When using the Export and Publish functions for docker within an OrbStack Linux VM I am seeing several artifacts from using the mac hosted docker.
When using Export with the client container and then subsequently exporting it the result tar archive has linux permissions set to root account -rw------- only.
If I use the instructions at https://docs.dagger.io/cookbook#build-multi-arch-image-with-cross-compilation to try and publish then the Publish() fails with no discerable error code or cause mentioned. I think it might be related to the first problem ?
Does anyone have any ideas as to how to wrangle OrbStack in this situation ?

Once you have the engine container running, and executing pipelines, whether it’s orbstack or docker underneath the engine should be irrelevant . My guess is that your issue has another cause.
