Hey all!

Have been lurking for a while waiting for a chance to get started with dagger where I work and have a good opportunity coming up to prove it's awesome!

I'm just wondering other than the guide on the docs site, are there any other examples or resources of migrating a gitlab CICD pipeline to dagger that I could use? 👍

It is a fairly simple pipeline, runs some tests with jest, does some linting, then containerises the app and pushes it to our container registry.

Hi @harsh marsh ! When are you planning to migrate your pipeline?

I'm the product manager at Dagger and am working to improve our GitLab docs and our integration in Dagger Cloud. Are you open to chat sometime this week - perhaps 30 minutes?

Hi @harsh marsh I'm the author of the GitLab guide in the docs. Was there something specific you found missing or unclear?

Hey sorry! Been a mad few days! @jolly hedge I'm planning on doing a small PoC just to see what it would look like around early Dec

@tight musk I've only skimmed it at the moment 😅 but I will get back to you when I've had a proper read 👍

Nice! Once you've reviewed the docs and tried the integration, would you be open to a feedback session? If you get stuck, we can also do a Q&A to ensure you're unblocked. I'm working to improve our integration guidance and general support for the Dagger community.

Dagger Cloud's visualization supports GitLab metadata, too, and your merge requests show up with the title, IDs, the user who did the change, etc.
