Just to be clear, this is not for the final brand name of the feature or tool, just an internal codename for the project itself. So it doesn't have necessarily to match the functionality.

I like Vulcan! As the greek god of fire, he's associated to forging new tools. I think it's a good way to refer the new purpose of Dagger: provide a new way (or tool) to use Dagger ๐Ÿ˜›

How about Gaia (the Earth/Mother) as the base which has the roots to the other cross-language extensions. Furthermore to some degree the name can be associated to renewal as well ๐Ÿ˜€

I think that Electric would fit this well. It's meant to emphasize the Engine connection to humans, APIs & the initial idea of "an Engine from the future and no doors".
