Hi Fabian! CUE is not deprecated, but it has not been ported to the new GraphQL-based engine. So at the moment it is on a separate "branch" of the engine. Work has started to port the CUE SDK to the new engine, but is not complete. There are questions on the best way to complete it, or whether it needs to be completed at all. This depends mostly on interest from the CUE community and the upstream CUE developers.

Thx! Good to hear! Then I will still promote the cue based approach in 2023 😊

Sounds good. To be clear, it's not impossible that it will be deprecated, if the CUE community and developers don't show enough interest

Sounds reasonable, some feedback after my talk also supports that it could be (too?) much work to communicate the benefits of cue over a yaml approach. Maybe picking the people up where they are with the different SDKs is more promising. I‘m eager to see how the interest in the cue SDK will develop. Thx again for clarification.

If you are willing to summarize your use case & requirements in an issue that would be amazing. both for cue & non-cue versions
