Why is it confusing? Like what about it? 1 is resources (the wood) and the hammer is for "building".

I agree on this. Should probably change the icon for building to a well, or a house, rather than a hammer, which me, and other people often mistakes for the tool tab

I've definitely mistaken build for tools. You get used to it, but would be slightly better experience for new users

i think build menu should have its own menu rather than it sitting inside the default tab button. tab should only contain your resources and items. build menu (F) should only have building menu.
