simply put, my fps drops to 20 when I go near a train or assemble one. This did not happen in create 5.0.1.

SNR version is SNR 1.7

I have also tried create optimized trains, did not help at all in the slightest sadly

well they did slightly improve it on 6.0.9, some contributors seem to have an interest in backporting it to 1.20.1 through https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/create-repair, but it's not in there yet
