i may be dumb but how do you place a bogey i can get the selction screen bu how do i place

However over and pick a bogey and then just place a bogey with a train casing

that is not working for me i am holding a train casing in my main hand then holding alt pickign a style then i try to place the caseing and it just places above the track withough creating a bogey

Then your track isn't in assemble mode

you gotta go in the station menu and there is a button

With a train icon

Called “assemble train” or “create train”

then only when you see the blue paint on the tracks you can then create trains
