Is the above gen 1? I was following a tutorial by Erik Hanchett on aws events and he uses it. But I can't find that file and I think that's been replaced by amplify_outputs?
Or am I missing something?

I believe that's the case. The structure is different in gen 2, though, IIRC, so it might have some complications with a gen 1 tutorial. You can generate the right file if you run the command (the last argument is optional):
npx ampx generate outputs --app-id <app id>
--branch <branch name> --out-dir <folder>
Yeah. I'm trying to learn gen 2. I'm new so don't want to learn gen 1. It doesn't help when YouTube tutorials are mixing these things up. Much of the documentation I've come across assumes so much knowledge it feels like it's been written for someone versed with Gen 1. And now we have the above!
