like with farming and ranching having assigned areas, i think it could be useful to have areas assigned for things like logging and preaching
preachers assigned to an area will only preach within there. if someone leaves the area they can no longer be targeted. useful for preaching in most often crowded spaces or if you want to make a building dedicated to it, or to preach near stationary workers
loggers assigned to an area will automatically chop down wood, grass and flowers growing there when they give the most yield. takes away some micromanagement. you could assign a specific logger there to keep them practicing once in a while on their own. same idea for foraging
id still also like for us to be able to assign areas for guarding. places guards will stand or patrol. could be time based, like guard in this area between 12-5pm for this noble
maybe even assigned mining areas, with resource limits. like mine in this area to maintain 100 stones. could be ticked on and off if they are allowed to mine blocks
maybe, though this might be a stretch, assigned hunting grounds. wild animals hanging out on those grounds automatically become targeted for hunting, and stay targeted if they are actively being hunted. could be the same for ranching, though that seems a bit pointless. would just allow nobles to do more things without player direction
