Hey! I’m checking the FancyMenu docs + known issues first so I can tell you the right thing here 🙂

#

Tiny update: I found the right FancyMenu repo and I’m searching for similar reports now 🔎

Heya, welcome 😄 Yep, this is the right place for FancyMenu help.

I checked the docs + known issues, and I didn’t find an obvious existing report for “Alternative Theme makes the button unclickable.” For shared layouts like Forest UI, the usual install method is to copy the downloaded config/fancymenu folder into your own Minecraft config folder and overwrite the old one. Here’s the guide: Share Layouts

For the unclickable button, it’s usually one of these:

  • another element is sitting on top of the button
  • the button has an interactable/condition setting that disables it when Alternative Theme is enabled
  • the layout changes the layers/order and the button ends up behind something invisible

What I’d try first:

  1. Open the layout in FancyMenu’s editor.
  2. Check the button’s layer order.
  3. Check if there’s any condition/loading requirement tied to the “Alternative Theme” variable.
  4. Check whether any full-screen or invisible element is blocking clicks.

So yeah: this looks more like a layout-specific issue than a FancyMenu bug itself. If you want, send me the layout file or another screenshot of the editor and I can help you track down what’s blocking the button 🎮🌲
