To apply a downloaded Custom GUI in FancyMenu, you need to import its layout files into your instance’s config/fancymenu folder, then open it in-game.

What to do

  1. Open your Minecraft instance folder
  2. Go to:
    config/fancymenu/
  3. Copy the downloaded GUI files into the right FancyMenu folders, usually:
    • layouts go into config/fancymenu/customization/
    • assets go into config/fancymenu/assets/ if the download includes textures/images
  4. Start Minecraft
  5. Open the menu where the GUI should appear
  6. Enable it via FancyMenu if needed

If it’s an actual FancyMenu Custom GUI

You may also need to create/open it first:

  • Go to Customization -> Custom GUIs -> Manage Custom GUIs
  • Select the GUI
  • Click Open GUI

Then add a layout for it like normal.

Important

If the download is from a community post, it may be:

  • a layout, not a custom GUI
  • or a full FancyMenu setup that should replace your existing config/fancymenu folder

If you want, send me a screenshot of the files you downloaded and I can tell you exactly where they go 🙂
