To apply a downloaded Custom GUI in FancyMenu, you need to import its layout files into your instance’s config/fancymenu folder, then open it in-game.
What to do
- Open your Minecraft instance folder
- Go to:
config/fancymenu/ - Copy the downloaded GUI files into the right FancyMenu folders, usually:
- layouts go into
config/fancymenu/customization/ - assets go into
config/fancymenu/assets/if the download includes textures/images
- layouts go into
- Start Minecraft
- Open the menu where the GUI should appear
- Enable it via FancyMenu if needed
If it’s an actual FancyMenu Custom GUI
You may also need to create/open it first:
- Go to Customization -> Custom GUIs -> Manage Custom GUIs
- Select the GUI
- Click Open GUI
Then add a layout for it like normal.
Important
If the download is from a community post, it may be:
- a layout, not a custom GUI
- or a full FancyMenu setup that should replace your existing
config/fancymenufolder
If you want, send me a screenshot of the files you downloaded and I can tell you exactly where they go 🙂
