deej.exe opens and closes instantly, but deej-debug works fine.

When I click on deej.exe, I can see it appear in the Task Manager Processes for a second, then disappear. Nothing appears in the task bar and moving the sliders has no affect on volume. When I use deej-debug.exe, it opens the terminal and everything works as it should. All sliders work with all programs with no errors or warnings. I've attached the debug terminal output of the working deej-debug, but nothing seems out of the ordinary for me. Anyone know what the issue could be? I'm mainly confused as to why deej-debug works but deej doesn't.

This is misleading, it does not seem related in any way to the problem being described here

@bronze narwhal place the deej folder in place that doesn't require special permissions. Program Files is protected by windows; try C:\ or your desktop
