Hello,

First Deej project here with a friend. We plan on 3D printing our case for 5 sliders pots and soldering everything.
I picked these parts on Aliexpress, I was wondering if I could run into compatibility issues with Deej, especially the Arduinos, since it's open hardware I went with a CH340 based board but it's not directly from Arduino. I've read we'd probably need to install drivers ourselves and prevent them from updating to not run into issues. Will Deej work fine with these boards?

Also unsure about the wires, is 26 AWG not too big or too small? Any better recommendations? I had a hard time finding just wires. We could strip and cut them ourselves too.

As for the sliders, since we are using a model from the Github Community page from /u/DruciferRedBeard (https://github.com/omriharel/deej/blob/master/community.md#udruciferredbeard), it looks like the sliders have to be 88mm, so I believe these should work. We should be able to solder directly on the prongs right?

Thanks for the help!

Wire size is fine, anything you have lying around will do.

You might need the CH340 driver from sparkfun if youre running into BSOD issues

If youre soldering I would get the nano without the pins already soldered on

And yes you can just solder straight to the slider's pins
