@main atlas Here's the pinout for the slider. 5V and GND wires can be swapped if you want (it just reverses the slider)
I recommend wiring up a single pot to test it out first then expand
right
so the data/wiper goes to the a0 on the arduino but where dose the +5v and gnd go to the arduino?
I don't mean to alarm you, but the +5v pin on the slider will go to the 5v pin on the arduino, and the gnd pin on the slider will go to the gnd pin on the arduino
ok don't worry i have not plugged anything in yet
i just have the arduino in the bread board
It's the 5v one right
Yep
Yeah looks good!
From the deej github!
deej.exe makes your computer listen, config.yaml tells your computer how to listen, and you'll need the .ino file from the arduino folder to flash to your arduino
If you're new to arduinos like I was, that link from the FAQ does a good job at getting you introduced to the process
ok
do i need to past this in to the arduino
You'll need to upload the sketch for it to work
so i change this to how many i have and the port i wired it to
it does not change wen i move the slider in the serial monitor
Can you send a screenshot?
Can you show a close up of your wiring on the breadboard?
