I have a new project which involves building Computer vision model for video surveillance, mostly involving tracking objects/vehicles in real time. I'm getting a laptop to work in this projects, what are the necessary specs I should look for?
Is RTX 3050/60 enough?
I'm planning on going with 8GB VRAM min, but maybe 12-16 would be a safe option.
I'm just confused with the right GPU, Vram and RAM so it'd be really helpful if someone could help me with this
Thank you

Hello im use spec RTX 2050 still ok
But if you have budget for train better use cloud server
About RAM better 16GB and more
Whether or not the RTX 3050/60 will be good enough depends on the objective of your project. If you intend to run it 24/7, processing 4K footage, it will not compete with cloud computing. Generally speaking, for object detection, tensor core performance (and also quantity) is what you should prioritize. I would say try to get a 3050/60 with 12-16 Gb VRAM. If you are going to do real-time object detection in relatively small batches, this will work just fine, but there will be a delay of a few seconds. For the "best" performance, you'd want either cloud computing or something like a GTX 4090 (which is very expensive).
