#Pattern Buffer Proxy interrupting craft when new items flow in

I'm having some weird problems with the ME Pattern Buffer + Proxy. Currently have two EBF, one with a buffer and one with a proxy.
When crafting with items that are available in my ME system, it works just fine, but when there are prerequisites flowing into the EBF while there is a craft already ongoing, the Proxied EBF interrupts its crafting or even turns off completely.

Reading what version of GTM?

1.20 7.4.0

Reading I'm gonna see if I can reproduce in a testing world, thanks for reporting

I used a lv mixer and MV EBFs and some energetic alloy for relatively long craft times. Might be easier to reproduce that way

molten fjord
#

This would be a minimum reproducable example right? anything I need to change?

bronze carbon
#

I'm using a recipe with fluids, but that shouldn't matter?

#

lemme see if I can reproduce after a restart

molten fjord
#

Let me know hapybapycat

bronze carbon
#

yep, still happening

molten fjord
#

what pack are you playing?

bronze carbon
#

interestingly, it only seems to be happening when the material that's currently being crafted in the EBF is added to the buffer

molten fjord
#

I'll add a fluid and specifically use that recipe, see if that changes it

#

gimme a sec

#

oh wait energetic alloy isn't base GT kekw I can't test it in my dev world with that

#

guess something else will ahev to do

bronze carbon
#

also didn't seem to happen with alu, tho I had that already stored in my me/external storage and was not crafted/added to the system mif craft

molten fjord
bronze carbon
#

if you want/need to I can hop into vc?

molten fjord
#

can you reproduce it when the EBF(s) only have one material that's being smelted?

bronze carbon
#

as in only energetic being smelted with nothing else in the que/buffer? yea

molten fjord
#

yee

#

Tried adding alum, didn't break either

#

CC @mortal bronze this might be related to the moni bug you were experiencing?

mortal bronze
#

well, apart from them being too smol but thats a design choice not a bug

bronze carbon
#

any way to get debug info I can try?

molten fjord
#

Could you try to see if you can reproduce it in GTMCP (GregTech Modern Community Pack)? That pack basically only contains GTM and some filler mods

#

That'd help us clear out if it's moni's fault or gtm's fault

bronze carbon
#

gimme a few

molten fjord
#

by all means take your time

bronze carbon
#

Prism launcher best launcher xD

molten fjord
#

Hell yeah chad

bronze carbon
#

before that, lemme try in a new world incase my world is fucky xD

molten fjord
#

Good idea

#

we would always like a MRE, a Minimum Reproducable Example

#

Since doing any sort of code checks when running your whole base is significantly harder x3

bronze carbon
#

had that sort of problem while playing Nomi: The pipes really didn't like my huge drawer wall I used for ore processing and bugged out in weird ways and didn't update properly anymore xD That one took a minute for me to figure out.

molten fjord
#

oh god yeah kekw huge drawer walls sound terrible for tps reasons and that might cause glitches I guess

bronze carbon
#

didn't notice tps lags, but the pipes were bugged as hell, even across dims xD

#

...I just realized that I might be dumb, but let's test that first. I used 8a cable with 2 4a EBFs. Add to that the mixer?the last hatch might have run out of EU while the mixer in front was running

molten fjord
#

L0L

bronze carbon
#

yep, I'm just bad at the game and didn't think about amps

#

..but I seem to have found another possible bug while testing

#

nope, I just placed the wrong thing. Instead of a storage buse I fatfingered to a pattern provider and then wondered why I couldn't return the nitrogen

Anyways, thanks for the help, even if it was user error in the end
