#A concerning issue

Hey there!
I've been having a problem where the game suddenly slows down my whole computer to around 0.5fps. The slowdown persists after I quit the game, curseforge, everything. As far as I'm able to tell it only happens with this modpack.
Nothing intensive shows up in the task manager. The hardware temperatures are normal as far as OpenHardwareMonitor is able to tell me.
The slowdown only goes away when I restart my pc - I've waited for a couple minutes with everything closed (other than bitdefender) but that does nothing.
The issue mainly happens when I mess around looking at recipes, but that could be a red herring. I've also had my computer slow down after I've shut down the modpack and was playing a different game as a one-off occurence. The slowdown can occur as soon as 15mins after starting he modpack, or as late as 2h.No pattern there. Sometimes it doesnt happen at all, but thats rare.
I've included the last log, which I have no idea how to read (with the jpeg of the last moments as a separate file)

I've tried to reinstall the latest version on curseforge, update base minecraft, didnt work.
16gb RAM, AMD Ryzen 5 3600 6-Core Processor (3.59 GHz), Windows 11 Home, 22GB free on the C drive, 73 on the D drive, Nvidia GeForce GTX 1660
Tell me if you need anything else from me

Any idea what these errors are? grabbed a couple of oher lines on either side just in case

#

Theres also this: [14:09:20] [main/WARN]: Error loading class: de/maxhenkel/easyvillagers/blocks/tileentity/TraderTileentityBase (java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: de.maxhenkel.easyvillagers.blocks.tileentity.TraderTileentityBase)

and this: [14:10:55] [Render thread/WARN]: Error loading class: net/fabricmc/fabric/api/blockview/v2/FabricBlockView (java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: net.fabricmc.fabric.api.blockview.v2.FabricBlockView)

No clue what is actually important

#

the last error seems to be related to fabric, but we don't support fabric, and im pretty sure the pack is on forge

#

it's strange that it doesn't crash and only slows down though

wraith light
#

Yeah, though "slows down" is an understatement. It makes me restart the pc regardless

shut basin
#

if you open the task manager when your pc is slowed down, what process is consuming the most resources?

wraith light
#

bitdefender, but its still pretty dang light

shut basin
#

is the cpu or ram usage spiking?

#

if ram it's probably a memory leak, though it would be really hard to trace which mod is causing that

wraith light
#

cpu is at near 0% when i close everything

#

memory at 41%

shut basin
#

ok that's weird

wraith light
#

bitdefender was at like 300mbs or something like that

shut basin
#

yea that's normal i think

wraith light
#

yeah, it can be on 700 on startup

#

I excluded whatever I could think of from bitdefenders scans - I've had problems where sometimes it would screw something up - but that didnt work. I could have missed something thoguh

shut basin
#

ok i honestly have no idea what could be causing that

#

Only other thing I've found^

#

Havent seen traders in hours and only get the slowdowns on the surface of the world, pretty much always in my inventory. Could the game try spawning them at that time and screw something up?

And it's a warning about a mixin target someone didn't bother adding skip logic for

junior acorn
#

you most likely have a malware run a full computer scan plus which os?

wraith light
#

windows home 11, did a full scan and everything comes out clean

junior acorn
#

a full scan takes like 4 hours

wraith light
#

took 40mins, what can i tell you

junior acorn
#

nah it has to scan 90 gbs i have a nvme still it takes long
