Sure
how long did it take you to get from apply to oa stage and also how experienced would i need to be in coding to apply to these internships do i need to know a lot or can any average person just apply
my major revolves around cybersecurity but with how virtually impossible it is to get into the industry with no experience i wanted to use my coding experience in python and a couple others to get into software engineering
unironically most companies prefer you have 2+ certs in cybersecurity to get an internship vs google SWE its like anybody with the knowledge can apply
Thats a better question for one of the internship or general channels imo theres people more versed in that. I applied as soon as they opened ab 2 months ago. You can apply w no experience, its all kinda a crapshoot if youโll get a response. I have the same exact resume (plus another summer internship) and didnt get an oa for this summer
i see if i dont get to the oa stage ill make sure to keep alerts up when it first opens up because i heard it increases your chances of getting an interview
thank you for speaking to me though
Yeah ofc! Never hurts to apply. People here are super nice and will give you advice. I would say most people ik at google right now have some previous experience, but Iโve heard of people who had nothing previously get in as well
Once it gets to the OA stage its all in your power, but until then theres not much you can do besides gather experience
It also depends on ur age/grade
But yeah ask some more in #general or #2022_fall
@graceful anvil congrats bro
I hope you get in!!!!!!
