09/24 finished final interview

09/24 was told the team would take a week to get feedback but I had a competing offer with a deadline of 09/30 which I let them know

09/27 recruiter calls me to say team pushed to get decision, verbal offer extended

This was for a security engineering internship

I should also mention that a few weeks prior I had failed the final round interview for Salesforce's SWE (Security), but my recruiter worked w/ me to apply for a new role that honestly fit better, I'm not built for SWE since my background isn't CS, it's cybersecurity
