I cold emailed 2 recruiters and havent heard back yet, but I also did it near/during the holidays so ymmv

i sort of just expressed my enthusiasm for meta, what they do, and what the role of swe entails, and then tried to relate all of those things to my education, background, and experience thus far

just gotta keep it short and sweet, and then attach an updated CV to the email
