And if your research isn't on there they have a box for you to put down what you're interested in

#

They also encourage you to actively engage with your Google research mentor

#

And are open to the idea of active collaboration with them in research if they take an interest in what you're doing

#

Which could actually lead to getting a job at Google for research

My mentor told me that they have the right to hire someone to Google to join in his research in Youtube

Yep, most mentors are pretty chill. Lot's of them are also open to giving mock interviews if you decide mid-way through that you instead want to go straight into industry instead
