i didnt study much, i tried to study ood like parking lot/elevator but a lot was just off-the-cuff based on my experience with REST APIs

ruby latch
#

damn.. and you just finessed it like that? any advice for it?

#

ur an absolute unit

jaunty merlin
#

i've had some api dev experience

#

be familiar with rest basics like CRUD

#

and the http verbs associated

ruby latch
#

tyty!!

jaunty merlin
#

OOD also can't hurt

ruby latch
#

they ask it in sys design?

jaunty merlin
#

not really but it can help with the mindset

ruby latch
#

ah i see

#

you thinking of taking instabase?

jaunty merlin
#

also i don't have much experience with relational db and i was upfront with that so they didnt ask too many relational questions

ruby latch
#

the sys design gna be such an L. i have no idea what its going to look like

jaunty merlin
#

just be honest with how much experience you have

ruby latch
#

gotcha

#

well i have none

#

LOL

jaunty merlin
#

its pretty collaborative

ruby latch
#

time to study

#

i kno really basic stuff like relational vs nonrelational pros and cons

#

load balancer stuff

jaunty merlin
#

so like they walked me through how s3 blob storage works (in terms of the minimum i needed to know to design the api)

ruby latch
#

ahh

#

damn

#

good shit ur a beast

#

i might cancel it lol

#

im gna flop for sure

jaunty merlin
#

like they give you a problem, give you the basic parts of the system

#

and then the api is on you

#

i wouldn't, do it for the experience at least

ruby latch
#

yeah im just so stressed about it. need to prep ml, and other shit too
