I don't have any advice other than externally no one can really help you, this sounds like something you would have to resolve with the recruiter you were contacting, the best bet is just to reapply to the position again and hope for the best

also emails are slow, if you really want to try to get ahead of this then you need to set up a phone call to talk about what happened
