For DRW sounds like you’ll be doing back of office stuff. Anecdotally I’ve heard that comp can really plateau at DRW back office swe, so I would probably take DB in this case

like CRUD support, building infrastructure that doesn’t contribute to things like execution at an HFT or teams that are close to the money at quant firms

front office deals more with working directly on the models traders use that directly makes profit

back office is more building infrastructure, building out the stability of things, etc

I’ve heard DRW is pretty silod too so I’d make sure you’re def comfortable w the team you’re on since you can’t really move around there
