are you applying to canadian postings or us postings?
SWE internship:
- bullet points are too generic and don't highlight any business impact
- specialized cache? retry logic? critical microservices? it would be valuable to expand more on this, because as it is written right now, the bullet points just seem to highlight features any reliable service should have in industry and sound slightly uninteresting (no offence)
ML:
- again am unclear how these efforts are related to business impact (or in this case, research) of compiler optimization
Projects seem fine although the last two projects kind of feel like course projects
Skills section: my recommendation is not to include entries that are not found in your bullet points. E.g. I dont see R language anywhere else; might give the impression you are overloading skills section to hit keywords
Overall you do have a solid range of experience. I just think the most recent experience is written too generically, and when people skim resumes quickly, you want a stronger first impression IMO. The bullet points should aim not just to highlight technical implementation, but tell a story in a sense
thats true to an extent but theres the right balance you need of both technical impact and business impact to outline in the resume. That way it appeals to both HR as well as hiring managers
