MIT so presumably research at CSAIL or some related lab. if you're targeting data/ML roles you're really strong for a rising junior

#

I'd get some projects that are more relevant, your first one is good, the others are fine but unrelated to where like 70% of your experience is focused. second one could be tweaked to be relevant with better bullets and focusing on the publication

with this context i was wrong, your second project is really relevant and strong

#

id replace the third, go for more research it'll be better than any individual projects you can do (unless you really cook). aim to have pure research aside from corporate internships by early-mid senior year

#

for you "relevance" is projects hitting the bullets of ML, med-oriented, or ideally both

#

hackathons likely won't be as good for you, and arent really needed for projects

#

you could go to network(?) but theyre really best for people trying to get stuff on thier resume early in college. after that people go cause theyre just kinda dumb fun with friends

MIT, 2 internships, CSAIL research as a rising junior

#

You’re not some like outlier for MIT, but overall you’re much better off than most rising juniors

#

Also you know what you’re interested in working in and have relevant exp/projects which is not the case for many

#

Could work on like the health metrics and stuff yeah

#

ML + health at a major company

#

Right up your alley

#

I’d say do more research, replace projects with it as you go, take corporate roles based on relevance

#

You have the base of experience juniors kinda need already, now just gotta specialize
