your projects are misaligned and have asterisks as bullet points, theres probably something wrong in the .tex file, i'd fix the error to get the alignment right

STAR bullet format for the projects since they're the meat of your resume rn, and write more about your work experience as it continues and start shortening the projects (3 bullet points tops as you start fleshing out work experience, and only if it's impressive or has good metrics you can list)

you can list your coursework together, it's wasting space in the current format

you're pretty solid for research based roles, on track for an applied scientist imo. if you want swe you'd have to work on a project that people can use and target companies

nah, a lot of people make like google chrome extensions, some make mobile apps, etc.

web dev is just the easiest to sort of map out a platform/tool cause its so adjacent to what people tend to know

shopify popups and such that you can integrate with existing apps are also popular

also yeah research as an undergrad is really good, especially as a rising junior. you have time to transition to industry, and machine learning will be in demand for quite a while, but it'll be difficult as an undergrad
