#!process is it worth taking an offseason

for context im at a big tech company rn and the fall company is a smaller, relatively unknown unicorn
i think it depends, i dont think more experience will ever be a bad thing it can only help you learn more. whether its worth it depends on your personal circumstances, what you'd have to sacrafice for the off season etc.
fair, in terms of sacrifices i wouldn't be affected at all in terms of grad date but at the same time idk if i wanna intern another 4 months. im leaning towards taking it only if i can get a rlly good team/project
and am i tripping for thinking recruiters might skip the res if they don't recognize my most recent experience
my guess would be yeah thats overthinking since at very least theyre prob looking at first few names, but i cant say for sure
cool yeah, makes sense. i think ill just wait for team matching and see if it outweighs the interesting courses im taking in the fall
any reason why in particular btw?
u gotta tell us the company in order to make us to help u trust
some cases u should, some nah
