Happy to answer any/all questions here!
How many rounds were there in HC?
HC was 4 back-to-back rounds, three 45 min technicals and one 45 min behavioral/chatting
Thank you
how was the coding problems?
Were you able to solve all coding questions optimally ?
coding was around LC med - med/hard
For the first two i solved optimally and then solved the follow up optimally as well
for the third i was able to solve the first question but didn't get time to solve the follow up completely. I told the interviewer my thought process, what i would do, and space/time and he seemed satisfied with it
Did you have to reach out to your recruiter after each Team Matching call? I'm also curious if the first team let u know how it went and if they wanted you? I only had one call and the team seemed little indifferent
i didnt reach out to the recruiter directly, i had 3 teams reach out to me at once. i asked for feedback after i concluded the last one, she mentioned one of the team was very interested and that was the one i went with
Gotcha! Thanks for the info; yeah I unfortunately had 1 team matching call so I'm praying I just get matched with this team but praying for more
So in total you had 6 coding questions ?
praying for u big dog, u got this
it was 3 seperate questions, but each had "follow ups" based on the original
ofc jusy paying it forward
Thanks man appreciate it; hopefully catch u at Big G if you accept
How did you apply ?
Did you get referral or direct apply ?
Also, how did you prepare for the interviews ?
team?
directly applied with a referal from an employee currently working at google,
prepared by grinding blind75 and NC150
Honestly you won't get "word for word" the same questions but if you can complete those you should have a very solid base for solving the questions they would ask
hope that helped!
google play team
i heard yt team building has the largest slide 🫡
c u around campus big man
@buoyant blade what’s your resume like
ooo nice sounds interesting
T10 LAC, one FAANG internship, a few other non-FAANG big tech SWE/MLE internships,
do you have to run the code with examples? or do you just dryrun? not familiar with google's platform
They don’t require u to run the code and the code editor is similar to a text editor
They do ask for u emm explain the code and run through some test cases verbally
Basically just dry run then
Yep
If you don't mind me asking, how did you get sde2 offer without fte?
SDE 2 is entry lvl. IDK it's SDE 2 but that's what it says on job posting
Ah gotcha
Congratulations!!!
