Congrats! How would you rate your VO rounds
if i rated myself conservatively lean no hire, lean hire or hire, hire
someone else probably wouldve rated lean hire, hire, strong hire
(behavior was just hire/pass, dont think a strong hire has much influence on this round)
when you say lean no hire does that mean you solved the initial but not the follow up?
yep! exactly that. i solved base question optimally in 10-15 min. he gave a followup, i verbally explained brute force. and he wanted optimal solution so i tried to approach that and put some code down. it wasnt working and i had no solution
@native epoch Would you mind sharing what kind of questions were asked to you ?
heaps/stack/sliding window/bisect left
so then what would you say was the difference between your lean hire and hire?
for hire round (my second and third rounds) my second round i solved the question optimally, but had a hint, and also got the time and space complexities right (it was tricky), the interviewer explicitly said my code looks like it would work and that i got the SC and TC right, which leads me to believe its a hire
Did u select python ?
