yeah, at my last role I was mentoring a couple new grads a year or two ago, seems like everyone was grasping at straws. felt bad, becuase I was in the same boat.

any you'd recommend? if you could DM it would be great as I'm sure you cant post or promote here.

im boston based too, so been getting involved in some of the local AI/CS clubs at the colleges in the area.

but looking for other avenues to find non-traditional talent

yeah, AI orchestration and customer experience design is my main focus. my company contracts with public sector organizations to help them do things like benefit delivery. langchain would definitely be a technology we use among others

#

its all simple stuff at the end of the day, customer facing bot to answer some FAQ questions, maybe some self service flows, chain that data into a database/crm. make it automated and repeatable with infra as code.

UMass Amherst was receptive, the others didn't get back to me 😦 trying to lean on my friends who are alumni to get my foot in the door over there

sure! just to be clear, I'm not actively hiring right now. will probably take 3-6 months for my budget to get approved for this fiscal year. happy to chat either way.
