if u want a more reserach releated ml role in indstury that sounds like an applied scientist which usually i think requires grad degree
but like if u want applied ml i think whatnot is basically faang+ tier

maybe a bit of both, i feel like many interns i have seen at whatnot have gone to acc faang afterwards but i dont know for sure. id prob talk to past interns for more info

NSERC research can translate into masters but only if your supervisor gets you a goated project or gives you a good recommendation letter. If not either than Shopify if you want to pursuit the masters
