#[2026 grad] concerned about my resume, not getting shortlisted anywhere, would appreciate any help

earned a certificate is not experience doing something.
"focused on developing a solution" is horrendous wording
i know you did not just write that you created articles and videos on a SWE resume
I would try to adopt a more standard format for your resume. This includes
- removing availability
- making section dividers clearer than just whitespace
- the only relevant activity you have is your TA, I would actually integrate that into your experience instead and remove all activities from your education (it's too bloated)
- depending on where you apply, the study abroad adds no value
- skills should go to the bottom unless you're hyperexperienced/focused in an area (which you're not) or applying to a place which is prioritizing skills that your experience doesn't account for
- the fact your experience section starts halfway down the page despite having relevant stuff is concerning
- I recommend prioritizing impact esp for your first bullet in your experiences. What caught my eye in your first bullet was not that you built Java backend (was it really raw Java?), but that you "tested JUnit backend solutions for software defects". Unless you're going for QA, change up how you write these - I want to specifically see what you did, what your impact was, and what it was for
- Same thing with your machine learning cert - adds no value if you're going to include this with your experience
Overall, if you clean this up, you should be fine for a lot of nontech swe roles
