A lot places are taking a few weeks to get back to people, but for most others you need to be applying early and submitting OAs fast if applicable. At a glance, your resume looks fine, but these stand out to me:
- Remove coursework, remove interests/domain
- "Optimized costs" -> "Reduced costs"
- How did you measure how you improved a11y?
- Usage of "spearheaded" has recently been flagged as AI-generated by a few companies and can hurt you
- How did you "cut effort by 70%"? Having bs "impact" automatically discounts the point for me
- "surge" -> "increase"
- How did you optimize a system with microservices? Very liberal use of "optimize" here
- "Achieved 10,000+ concurrency..." what does this mean?
- You slashed (also, please don't use "slash") EC2 load but increased throughput? Can you clarify?
- LOC alone is not signal for your impact - in fact, it's looked down by a fair number of my colleagues
- You "maximized data fetch efficiency by 18%"? What does this mean?
- "Curtailed 15% customer fuel costs..." - this entire bullet might need to be rewritten for clarity, and please don't use "curtail"
- "Elevated team productivity 25%" as measured by what?
- "Augmented transaction effiency" as measured by what?
- Achieving 99.99% uptime and data reliability is easy for a single deployment with <1000 users lol, you should reserve metrics like this when you have to handle distributed scaling
