Not enough crud
you don't have an internship?
dang
unfortunate
your resume seems decent
how many applications did you put out last cycle
yes that's the issue
you should have done a couple hundreds
would have gotten something
for the summer
i think it's fine isn't millennium pretty good
it's easy to miss that you placed 1st at the datathon
I see a lot of hackathon winners literally put "Winner" or something that indicates it very clearly in the title
Idk exactly how they do it sometimes its like "x y z Winner" or "x y z - 1st Place"
I'd argue you have enough cool shit on there to not need the waiter position. Outside of tech it'd probably be more appreciated but I think no one holds versatility and interpersonal skills on the resume to a high regard
im sure there's been some ongoing debate on that part though so ill sit out of that discussion
Also first position, if you're worried just change to Software Engineering Contractor or something
^
I think they'll see student in the title and judge it unfairly
Software engineer first looks cooler
I promise you there's people larping way harder than you putting "software engineering contractor" or even "software engineer"
im sure they see harvard and mit on 5000 resumes from people who took one online course
that's what your interests section conveys
the main issue with the waiter position is you already have alimited amount of attention the recruiter is going to put into reading your resume,
and given that its at the top
do you want to expend that attention before they get down to citadel datathon winner
or any of your other projects
are you able to afford quitting your waiter job
will you be in financial destitute if you quit your waiter job?
personally if I were you I'd quit the waiter job and focus on interview prep
still need to highlight 1st place citadel
perhaps put awards right under education
he doesn't have to since he has whitespace left
but you do want to make your awards visible
put awards right after education
or experience
or not
it doesn't really matter i guess since one can notice the awards immediately
can you analyse my data pls gah damn
how many teams did you compete against
