- I am located in Canada, and I am looking for 4 to 16 month long internships in Software Development/Engineering.
- I am in my 3rd year at a small Canadian school, and I have the opportunity to take a year off for a Co Op/internship. I recently had an offer for a 12 month Software Developer Co Op at a small tech company in Ontario that was rescinded.
- My role was to work on software products for the client, kind of like SaaS projects.
- I have interests in product development, and have started two startups already while at school, unfortunately both have failed but taught me a lot, and gave me a taste of product development, which I am looking for in an internship.
- My only real work experience is working as a Teaching Assistant for a couple classes, most notably a System Level Programming class, where C and Bash were taught. Before receiving my offer, I had a couple other offers but nothing notable.
- This resume is completely new, and not the one I was using before my offer. I feel this resume is better than my past one, as I followed many of the points of the Wiki, and my past resume was not giving me a lot of interviews anyways.
- I am a Canadian citizen, and I do not have a Visa for the US, but I would be open in working there, but I know it will be easier to find a position in Canada.
- Finally, I wish to get advice on the entire resume (if possible), and would love to hear everyone's feedback!
