Well, just translate that to: emphasize the stuff that's relevant to the position you want.

Just looking at your background, I'd guess DA. But, if you want DE, then go for that too... but def emphasize programming skills, you seem a bit light on that side / DE skills.
Definitely start with something like Kaggle.com/learn, if you don’t know that stuff yet

Learning various mlops and DevOps stuff is helpful too. SQL skills too.
