i wouldn't Recommend this per say but its not theworst idea to said you improved the wordpress website using html and css components

better than nothing right

also because u don't have any professional experiences in a software/computing sense the best way to offset that is with more projects, each using new technologies (one with mongodb, flask, some api, etc, and then one with postgresql, next.js, nextauth etc and more)

i would suggest over the winter break you:
make 2-3 passion projects with new technoloies
try to get some sort of research assistant position at your university (easiest to break into bc its unpaid but its techniclal experience)
go to the spring career fair if ur univesity has one and network and with your formatted resume you can get fast tracked
