Yeah it was technical, I had a recruiter call me to schedule it. I completed the phone back in the first week of January

They called me in mid December to schedule it

#

For context I have interviewed with Google before and the recruiter knew that, so he had me interview for L4 spots since they were pretty much out of L3s

Can u really interview for L4 spots just bc L3 spots are running out? I thought most people get promoted from L3 to L4 after like two years. Are there other things you the recruiter liked about you that you can interview for L4 right away?

Thinking back, i think i saw some people on linkedin where they were like senior swe right after school. I wonder if this is similar thing

That’s what he said in his voicemail at least, I’m not sure what the rationale was for his decision to have me interview for L4

And not after layoffs, we scheduled the interview back in mid December

Good luck! Is it possible to interview for either L3 or L4 without having a degree yet? Or have you graduated already?
