software engineering / computer science is one of the rare fields where people so easily share knowledge and are willing to help others.. just look at the amount of freely available resources online, and opportunities out there.. it is also not like you need a license to practice (which many other fields do)

Cause from what I recall is just don't have a more streamlined way of getting return offer into the position (vs. having interning there) and you still do OA and the interview process but the descriptions I think wanted for couple years of after uni experience.

I am doing a BFS starting from starting position and calculating the number of cases where after k steps the knight is inside the board. I'm using a queue based approach. The thing is it's TLEing.
And I'm not able to understand the dp approach. 🙈😅

well consider the state changes first. the knight is only changing between row and column. that's two state changes unless you consider them a pair and make it one. afterwards, you need a flag of whether it was outside of bounds or not so thats a second or third state change. continue going in each direction for k steps and save the previous result. this is brute force with memo. for the dp solution, you need to just count for each k, how many are good, and keep track of these since these CAN go bad still
