if youre trying to align this with modern trends, I would make the boxes white with a very transparent grey outline. Use your primary color (orange) more sparingly. Right now the colored boxes seem more like buttons

I'm trying to fix up this email digest template someone else made a while back. Any design tips? The light orange areas don't feel very modern to me, wdyt?
